Lane Noyes, 2008
Lane Noyes, a sophomore center for North Branch Boys’ High School hockey team and former NBAHA player, participated in the USA Hockey/Minnesota Hockey Advance 16 tryouts this weekend. He skated in tryouts with the best players from Section 5A/5AA and showed the section that the North Branch area can produce excellent players. Unfortunately, though Lane showed he could play at a high level, there were many good players and he was ultimately not selected for the Advance 16 team to represent 5A/5AA.
