Brat Stand & Carwash Fundraiser at County Market

We will be having a brat stand & carwash fundraiser Friday June 11th-Sunday June 13th to raise funds for the High School Hockey Team. We will be working all 3 days and split each day into 2 shifts. Shift 1: 11:00-2:30, shift 2: 2:30-6:00.

If you have not yet signed up please contact Lena Shepherd at lshepherd7@hotmail.com. We are still in need of workers on Sunday afternoon from 2:30-6:00.

Please encourage friends and family members to stop by for a delicious lunch or dinner from the brat stand while their car is washed by our hockey players!!!

Parent/Player Meeting Wednesday May 19th at Americinn

There will be a meeting on Wednesday May 19th at 7:00 pm at the North Branch Americinn’s Meeting Room for all current and incoming High School hockey players and parents. At this time the Viking’s Blue Line Club will be discussing fundraising needs and goals along with the budget for the upcoming hockey season. Topics also on the agenda will include busing for hockey practices and information about captain’s practices.

Ballard’s Resort-Lake of the Woods Raffle Tickets now Available

Ballard’s Resort on beautiful Lake of the Woods in northern Minnesota has provided the Viking’s Blue Line Club with a unique fundraising opportunity. We will be selling raffle tickets for a fishing adventure on legendary Lake of the Woods Minnesota! The winner will receive a 3-night stay at Ballard’s Resort with a 2-day guided fishing trip for 6 people!

We will be selling raffle tickets to raise money for the Boy’s High School Hockey team. The drawing will take place on June 18th at Gander Mountain in Forest Lake at approximately 6:00 pm. You need not be present to win, but feel free to join us to support the fundraising efforts!

Tickets will be sold for the bargain price of $10 each, you may contact any high school hockey player to purchase. If you have not yet received your raffle tickets, please contact Tina Walker or Paige Lee.

We are also in need of volunteers to sell raffle tickets at Holiday Gas Station in North Branch (the original location on the northeast corner of 35W) and at Fish Lake Bait in Harris on Friday May 14th. Our goal is to connect with as many fishing enthusiasts as possible as they head north to catch the big one on fishing opener. We are going to have 2 shifts 3-6 pm and 6-9 pm. We would like 2 players to be present along with one adult.

Vikings Blue Line Club Basket Bingo May 1 2010, 9:00 am-12:00 noon

Please join us on Saturday May 1st for Basket Bingo at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch.
Bingo will go from 9:00 am -12:00 noon.
Tickets are $20 each for 20 games of Bingo and can be purchased at the door! Food and drinks will be sold and all proceeds will benefit the North Branch Viking Blue Line Club!

Bagging Groceries at Cub

On Thursday, Dec 24^th, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. we will be bagging groceries at Cub Foods in Cambridge. We will need 20 players per shift with at least two parents per shift. There will be four shifts. We need you for longer than one shift. Our plan is to have everyone that is participating on a list by December 18th.

County Market, Brats Stand & Carwash

We will be operating the Brats Stand at County Market in North Branch August 21st through 23rd. We will also be having a car wash there at the same time.
We need to have at least two adults present so we are looking for adults to sign up to cover each shift as well.
The shifts for each day are: 10:30am-12:30pm, 12:30pm-2:30pm, 2:30pm -4:30pm, 4:30p-6:30pm

Four players tryout for Advanced 16/17 program

Juniors Lane Noyes, Gavin Runberg, Jarrett Sachs and sophomore Michael SantaBrigida all participated in the USA Hockey/Minnesota Hockey Advance 16/17 tryouts in Duluth over the weekend. They skated with the best players from Section 5A/5AA. All four represented our hockey community well and showed that the North Branch area continues to produce excellent players. Despite their best efforts, the talent pool was very deep and none of our players made either roster.

This high school level award is a natural extension of the prestigious Hobey Baker Memorial Award.
